Lincoln’s Assassination and Kennedy’s Assassination- More Than What They Seem?
Okay, so today I heard some surprising things from my….. well, okay, that’s none of your business. I was talking to… Mr. Someone about the JFK assassination when he began to tell me a thing or two about the Lincoln assassination and before I knew it he was taking me on a crazy adventure all across the web and we ended up finding some pretty interesting info on them…
THINGS THE LINCOLN AND KENNEDY HAD IN COMMON:
- Lincoln was elected to congress in 1846 and Kennedy was elected in 1946, that’s 100 years apart.
- Lincoln was elected as president in 1860 and Kennedy was elected in 1960, 100 years apart.
- Lincoln’s wife lost a child while living in the white house, and so did Kennedy’s wife.
- Both Lincoln and Kennedy were directly concerned with civil rights.
- Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy who told him not to go to the theater that day that he died.*
- Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln who told him not to go to Dallas that he died.*
- Both of them were shot in the back of their heads while in the presence of their wives.
- Lincoln was shot in the Ford theater.
- Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln, manufactured by Ford.
- Both men were shot on Friday.
- Lincoln’s assassin, John Wilkes Booth, was known by 3 names comprised of 15 letters; so was Kennedy’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.
- Booth shot Lincoln in a theater and fled to a warehouse.*
- Oswald shot Kennedy from a warehouse and fled to a theater.
- Booth was killed before being brought to trial.
- Oswald was killed before being brought to trial.
- There were theories that Booth and Oswald were part of a greater conspiracy, most theories were formed around suspicion of the government.
- Lincoln’s successor was Andrew Johnson, born in 1808.
- Kennedy’s successor was Lyndon Johnson, born in 1908.
*It is an urban legend that Lincoln ever had a secretary named Kennedy. There is no actual record of that. *It is not known that Kennedy’s secretary warned him not to go to Dallas, but their name really was Lincoln. *Booth actually fled to a farm and was killed in a tobacco barn, so it’s kind of a stretch to call it a warehouse. But government officials did order the theater to be torn down after Lincoln’s assassination and it was turned into a warehouse.
To continue with the Kennedy investigation, it is also said that some of the witnesses during the assassination had heard 4 gunshots instead of 3. A few of those people swore that they heard a gunshot and saw dust fly over by a white picket fence nearby. Also, one of the bullets that hit Kennedy was said to have nipped the side of his chest and go staight through the car seat and hit the wrist of the man sitting behind him, and I guess and that point the bullet had lost so much velocity that it bounced off his hand and into his lap. Investigators at first thought this to be impossible, but further in vestigation prooves it might be true, though it is unlikely. To add on to that, normally when a bullet hits something it crumples, but this one was completely unharmed.
I don’t know about all this… but post a comment anyway and tell me what you think.
